Brown Sugar Coffee Cake

Cake mix based recipes are great for saving time and energy (but you can easily use a homemade cake mix recipe like the ones shared here. )

you will need the following items to make this yummy easy brown sugar coffee cake:
1 box of yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 cup of water
⅓ cup of butter
1 tsp cinnamon

For the Topping:
¾ cup of brown sugar
1 tsp of cinnamon
½ cup of pecans, chopped
¼ cup of walnuts, chopped

To make the Maple Drizzle:
1 cup of powdered sugar.
2 drops maple extract.
1 tbs Water

Preheat the oven to 350 & lightly grease or spray a pan with non-stick spray

Mix the ingredients for the cake (cake mix, cinnamon, eggs, water and melted butter).

Mix the ingredients for the topping (brown sugar, cinnamon, pecans & walnuts). Dump half of it into the cake mix batter., mix it in. Pour this mixture into the pan.

Sprinkle the remaining ingredients on top of the cake and then bake the cake for 30-35 minutes or until the cake is golden & done.

Make a drizzle by mixing powdered sugar, maple extract and enough water to make it fairly thin. Drizzle this over the warm cake and serve immediately. This is even tastier the next day, so you can make it ahead of time if you want to.
