I’m following you around!
Measure the following ingredients into a jar or 2qt ziploc bag:
1 1/2 C. bread or all-purpose flour*
1/2 C. coarse-ground rye flour
1 T.wheat germ (or 2 T. graham flour)
2 T. gluten*
1 1/2 t.salt
1 1/2 T. brown sugar**Stir all of this with spoon or spatula. Or just shake it around to mix. Then add another:
1 C.white flour
Label (Attach Tag)
Pour 1 C. water, bread mix, 1 1/2 T. shortening (or butter), make a small well in center – add 2 t.yeast.
Start Bread Machine in cycle you prefer.
*If you use bread flour, omit the gluten.
**To leave out the brown sugar and note that you must add 1 1/2 T. honey on the label. - November 29, 2011 at 3:35 pm #430525
