Black Forest Steamed Bread Pudding 2 hamburger buns or 4 slices of bread 2 eggs 1/4 cup whole milk powder 1/2 cup water 1/2 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp nutmeg 3 tbs honey 1/3-1/2 chopped nuts 1/3-1/2 dried cherries 1/3-1/2 dark chocolate chips Tear bread into small pieces. Mix in all other ingredients. Spray a handle-less pan with cooking spray.
Pour the bread mixture into the pan and then seal well with aluminum foil. Place the pan into a larger pot. If you have a heat diffuser, place it in the bottom of the pot.
Pour about 1 inch of water in the pot. Cover it tightly with foil. Cook over high heat until you can hear the water boil, then turn stove down to a simmer for about 45 minutes.
When a knife inserted into the middle comes clean, the pudding is done. Servings: 4
