hi ya! I have hosted MANY birthday parties. Every single year.
For my daughter’s ninth..
we had 28 girls spend the night. Can you imagine that?
Anyways, at that age.. they are looking forward to things a little more grown
Some of the things we did.
All the kids got to make their own mini pizzas. Easy and cheap to do.
We played red-rover out in the street… this was so fun!!!
We had lots of music and a boogie contest. Who could dance the longest..
could dance on one foot.. etc etc
I bought kiddie makeup.. and put the girls in groups of two.
they had to make
each other up as a movie star.. and then strut down the run way.
we had hoola hoop contests
I also had playstation set up in one room, music in another, pizza in the
kitchen, and crafts in another room.. so that there was ALWAYS something to do.
You can do simple crafts too.
Such as if you have a few kids.. puppets. from
socks or paper lunch sacks..
divide into teams.. and do a play.
divide the kids up to do a skit.
put on an improv talent show.. singing show, dance, etc
A box of majic tricks..
cheap.. and have the kids all learn a few tricks and
test them out.
There are a lot of simple games.. that can be made a lot of fun
