I have seen recipes for the “lava” cakes that you can bake. Many restaurants sell them for a heavy price. They look like upside down cupcakes with the liquid “goo” oozes out.

i go to the grocery store- and i hate paying that much for something
that is really just “so much nothing”..these appear to me to be only a small amount of chocolate cake mix,
some water and then whatever the chocolate packet is made up of..if
anyone has a clone type recipe for this product, please share it with
me…if not a true clone, suggestions would be appreciated as to what i
could try to substitute for the chocolate “goo” that you put on top of
the cake mix
before you microwave the whole thing. it just rubs me
wrong to pay what these things cost for two bites of a chocolate
dessert!tia
