I have sold books in the past on Amazon.com and found it to be both easy to understand and a great way to make extra money. All you need is the isbn number (or some combination of letters…can you tell i don’t pay much attention to details?) and to set a price after you set up an amazon sellers account. they notify you when the book is sold, tell you where to ship it, and that they are holding your money.
you can wait until amazon transfers it to your account after a certain period of time or you can immediately move the money to your account yourself with a few clicks of the computer. i wrap my books in cut up brown paper grocery bags, after i have wrapped the book in a plastic bag (grocery) first to protect from moisture, and then drop it in the mail….no big deal. i would certainly recommend amazon.com for selling books- it’s easy, quick, and no cash outlay to get started.
