have a bit of beef left over? about a cup? use it with the following ‘re-do’ recipe;-)
      Beef with Creole Sauce:063:
      2 tsp olive oil
      1/4 cup onions, chopped
1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
      1 cup canned tomatoes
      1/2 tsp chili powder
      1/4 tsp celery seed
      1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 cup leftover beef (any kind), cubed
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil. Add the onions and green pepper and sauté until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and the seasonings. Cover and let simmer over low heat 20-25 minutes. This allows the flavors to blend. Spread the beef in a 9X13-in baking pan. Pour the sauce over the steak and cover. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated and bubbly. Remove from oven. Serve over rice or egg noodles. 4 servings = about 245 calories
