Then just try this appetizer for your next get together;-D Be advised that it is a “two-stepper.” Barbequed Pork Strips 3 lb lean pork, cut into strips 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup dry sherry 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1/8 tsp pepper 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, your favorite 8-oz can pineapple chunks (do not drain) In a heavy skillet brown pork strips in a little vegetable oil.
Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in slow cooker. Stir well. Add browned pork strips and stir to coat.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 9 hours. Serve hot from pot with sauce. Makes about 15 appetizer servings.
