KeymasterAutumn Festival Mix Gift
Posted by : jazzdoll_2000Liss Note: To make a festive 4th of July Gift use red, white & blue Jelly beans in layers.
Makes a great hostess gift! In a jar tied with a pretty ribbon, or a festive baggie with a topper -spice up any season or holiday, just change the color and flavor of the Jelly Belly beans!1 Tbs. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 cups prepared air-popped popcorn (microwave variety works great)
1 cup bite-size crispy wheat squares (such as Wheat Chex cereal)
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 1/2 cups Jelly Belly beans (mix Tangerine, A&W Root Beer & lemon
Flavors)
2 cups fat-free pretzels
non stick cooking sprayIn a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. In large bowl, combine popcorn, cereal, and cranberries. Spray popcorn mixture lightly for 4-5 seconds with non-stick cooking spray.
Quickly toss with sugar mixture.
(This helps the sugar mixture stick to the popcorn). Stir in Jelly Belly beans and pretzels. Store in covered container
Halloween/Fall: Licorice; Orange Juice, Island Punch and Green Apple jelly beans
Thanksgiving: Cranberry, Grandma’s Pumpkin Pie and Hot Cider jelly beans
Christmas: Cinnamon, Coconut and Green Apple jelly beans
New Year’s Eve: Chocolate Pudding, Champagne Punch and Coconut jelly beans

This would also be really cute at a baby shower. You could buy some cheap baby bottles & fill each of them with the mixture (with pink jelly beans for a girl or blue jelly beans for a boy) – and give these as part gifts! 🙂
