After looking at this week’s ad (1/16-1/22) I found an excellent deal : especially for those that have young kids around the house…or really anybody who loves cereal (like me!!!). There is bogo cheerios cereal, and if you have coupons you can get them for practically nothing! ymmv but publix is normally pretty good with having the same deals in all of their stores.
if you are new to couponing and unfamiliar with publix’s coupon policy:
since this is a bogo offer you are able to use 2 separate Manufacturer Coupons to lower the price of the item.
If there are also Publix coupons you can use 2 of those as well to stack. **Although you are truly paying for only 1 box of cereal Publix’s computer system recognizes the purchase of two items thus making it easier to coupon!!Breakdown:
The Price for a box of Cheerios = $3.79
Minus: $1.50 (Using two $0.75/1 manufacturer coupons found in SmartSource 1/12)
Totals: $2.29 for two boxes of cereal! ($1.14 each)
That is 60% savings!!!!
**Side note: If you do not get the sunday paper, try to find the same or similar coupon using a coupon database.
Happy Shopping 🙂
