My FIL is a BIG time sweeper, and wins often. Three years ago, he
won a brand new Jeep Liberty, and was able to customize it with
every option that Jeep offered, with money on the allowence left
over (they gave him something like a $25-30K budget, the base
liberty was around 18k, so he had enough to use up just about every
available option on it). He’s won loads of small prizes, including a
$50 gas gift card he just sent up here to us.
He uses a website called Hypersweeps. It tracks where you’ve
entered, how often you are allowed to enter, whether or not you can
re-enter it again, etc. It seperates contests by headings of things
like what type of prize it is, whether or not you can enter once,
once a day, once a month, once a week, etc.
It’s free for the first 2 weeks, I think. After that, it used to be
around $25 for the year, if you pay for a year in advance.
Otherwise, I want to say it was like $5 a month. I was a member for
about 6 months, but lost interest when I just wasn’t able to win
I did get a $100 cash prize from GM Cereal, and a few small things
like key chain conselation prizes, etc. The $100 was nice, but the
rest was just eh. It can take up a lot of time, if you let it. My
big contest draw was trying to win a trip to Disney. I still do
enter Disney contests, but I don’t do the big time sweeping anymore.
