when out of fabric softner, grab some aluminum foil from your kitchen, crumble into a ball and throw into your dryer. Will keep the static out of your clothes and you can use over and over. Saves you a lot of money also!

I tried this and it seemed to work okay on a couple of loads, but then it’s almost like it was “worn out” as subsequent loads still had static build-up. Does this happen with you?

It continues to work for 2-3 loads but after that won’t really “suck up” any more static. Simply tear off a small piece of foil, just enough to wrap it around your current ball, and you’re all set for 2-3 more loads.
