Hi! If it was me, I’d just pay it and forget it. If you go to court,
they may not even let you say anything. whatever the officier and the
law says goes, makes no difference, if you even know the law or not.
My brother in law , just went to court, he’s a law abiding person and
he lost . There weren’t even allowed to say anything and he had 3
witnesses and they weren’;t allowed to sayanything either. He ended up
owingfine , plus court costs , plus points on his licence. They had
been goning to the zoo and rounded a corner and therewas police car off
to side of road. Here in Ohio new law , have to move to left lane if ,
cop car in right lane or off side road. Well, he went over as far as he
could seeing the car was just around corner , but didn’t quite get all
way in other lane. The police do not have to show up at court. They
just read off the charges. So it cost my sister and him a lot, both took
off work part of day, court costs , fine, points on license, plus
getting points on license can make insurance go up. So this is what it
was lie in this area . Hope yours goes better. Blessings, lisa
> Yesterday I was stopped by a police officer for not wearing the seat
belt. The mistake I made was to unclick the seat belt when he puled me
over, I panicked. In all honesty I was wearing it but he gave me a
ticket. I didn’t think I did anything wrong and forgot the seat belt
law. I live in Illinois.
