My niece was in a horrible accident a few years ago. She was on her way to college in the morning, someone came in the opposite direction and almost hit her. She jerked her wheel to avoid hitting the person and instead ran into a tree. The other person kept going… never stopped to see if she was dead or alive. Well, I think she blacked out for a couple of minutes, and when she woke up, instinctively she tried getting out of the car. She was buckled up so she unbuckled but still couldnt get out… her legs were broken. Within minutes the police arrived and an ambulance, etc. Long story short… she was sited for no seatbelt! She said she was wearing one at the time of the crash, but they sited her anyway. Even in the hospital the next day, she had a huge dark bruise from the seatbelt. They paid the fine… couldnt afford to fight it. 🙁I praise and honor you, Father, because you are a God who loves to answer prayer, and who begins to answer even before I begin to pray. (Isaiah 65:24)
