Hi Debbie CHeck the formula if there is a lot of iron in the formula that can be the problem. the only thing is there are no fromla’s without iron in them. There are a few low iron formula’s.
Both my great niece and my youngest grandson had the same problem. I suggest adding a little more water and cutting back a little on the amount of formula the child is recieving. At one month there is not much you can do.
You could if you can hold the baby still long enough is take the rectal temp and lub it up with vasoline and insert in her little rectum. Be very careful though. She must not move.
The vasoline may help her ease the pain of the hard bowel movements.E-mail me privately I might be able to come up with other ideas. Gail
