      Ah I see now. A lot of it sounds like Asperger’s with him. Altho he

      doesn’t cry Matt can still have a tantum and he’s almost 24. Some

      times he seems like a normal person so to speak and other’s it’s like

      talking to a 6 year old.

      If there’s a charter school near you or if you have school of choice

      there I would consider changing his school if you can. Matt went to

      priviate school for K-2 it was a very small class of anywhere from 2-5

      so she could give lots of one on one attention. Third -6th was a

      public school, he didn’t pass 5th but she still passed him. Toward the

      end of his 6th year I found the charter school. The next year he

      started school at the charter redoing 6th grade at my request. That

      was the best thing I ever done for him. Because they are a charter

      they dont’ have to follow the rules that a public school does so their

      special ed is much better. At least in my opinion. And altho it’s free

      like public school it can do more things with the kids like a private

      school.
