Any link I hit from the forum snaps up a screen over the top allowing me an opportunity to subscribe for add free access to the site. I’m fine with the adds so just want the screen to go away. There is no option to close it or opt for “see adds” if I hit the link for the subscription stuff.
Screen shot….

Is there any way you can take a screen shot as the one you sent shows a Server 400 Bad Request and doesn’t display anything.
We don’t have a Subscription service overlay…. so… I really don’t know what you’re seeing or receiving?!! There is an ad-blocker detector that triggers a pop up message, do you have an ad-blocker on?

There is no add blocker on mine and I have added it to the safe sites, but I still receive the error and cannot get past it.Attachments:

here is how that page actually displays with the ads enabled
What browser are you using? I would double check the add-ons/extensions as you definitely have ad-blocking software running on your computer. It’s a rather scary scenario to be running software without your knowledge on your system, it could be tracking, copying, downloading or uploading anything without your consent.Severe Security issues with that!

Chances are you have an extension that is blocking the site from rendering.

I am currently having the exact same issue. I do have adblockers but I have this site added to both whitelists. I even tried it on Microsoft Edge (which has zero addons by default and this was my first time using it), and I got the same screen.
Like…I can view everything but actual recipes/guides.
I apologize for the large number of screenshots, but I wanted to show proof that the site’s whitelisted.

Now, comparing my screen with the marked on screenshot, I do notice I’m not seeing ads for some reason on Chrome (all relevant extensions are turned off on sites I trust). Same thing with Edge.
Are you using an add-on called “Disconnect”?
Also, Did you clear the cache of your browser after whitelisting because sometimes your browser is being cached depending on your computer settings…

Some ad-blockers continue to work whether whitelisted or not. As you can see from the screenshots you provided there is still something blocking the ads and the code from rendering.

don’t think i’ve ever heard of that one.
i have the great suspender for all the extra tabs i sometimes forget i opened(it puts them in a low resource mode), adblockplus and adkiller, and some extension through kaspersky. i’ve emptied my cache several times between then and now, but this is the only site that didn’t resume ads (i have them all disabled for youtube and a few webcomics) like normal.
lol i’m hoping that i can get a new computer soon and started completely fresh will help avoid this problem in the future.
