My daughter knows that a prerequisite to having a car is having a job. But, I
still have to add her to our policy. I really need to talk to our insurance
agent about all the particulars. I don’t want any surprises when our policy
renews next year.
Life was much easier (and cheaper) when they drove Barbie cars and Big Wheels
lol.

You have to add your teens to the policy. We require
our teens to pay their own insurance. It seems to make
them more responsible as drivers if they are putting
money into it. If they get a ticket they also pay for
the ticket and lose their driving priviledges for a
time.
