Sweet Potatoes with Apples
Ingredients:
3 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored
1/4 cup (60mL) orange juice
2 large sweet potatoes (1 lb.), peeled
1/4 cup vegetable margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice apples 1/2″ thick, place in bowl and
cover with orange juice. Slice sweet potatoes 1/4″ thick.
Spray a 2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
Mix melted margarine, brown sugar and Mrs. Dash® Extra Spicy
Seasoning Blend together in large bowl. Toss mixture with apples,
juice and potatoes.
Place vegetables in prepared dish and bake covered, in 400°F oven for
30 minutes. Remove cover and continue cooking for another 15-20
minutes or until potatoes are tender and casserole is golden.

Spicy Glazed CarrotsIngredients:
1 lb. fresh baby carrots
1 cup water
1/2 tsp Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend
1/4 cup honey
1 Tbsp. orange juice concentrate
2 tsp Mrs. Dash Table Blend
Directions:
Place carrots, water, Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend in a
microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 10 minutes or until
carrots are crisp tender. Drain.
Heat honey, orange juice concentrate and Mrs. Dash Table Blend in a
small saucepan on medium heat until hot. Pour over drained carrots.
Serve immediately.

Turkey Rice StuffingIngredients:
1/3 cup margarine
1 large onion
2 stalks celery
2 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash Original Blend
1 1/3 cup long grain white rice
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 2/3 cup low sodium chicken broth
Directions:
Chop onion and celery.
Preheat oven to 350 F°
Spray a 2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray, set aside.
Melt butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Add onion and
celery, and Mrs. Dash® Original Blend. Cook, stirring, for about 5
minutes.
Add rice to skillet, mix until well-coated. Stir in dried cranberries
and pecans.
Place rice mixture into prepared casserole, pour chicken brother over
rice.
Cover casserole, bake 45 minutes.
Serve with roast turkey.
