Well, an attic fan is installed in the attic of the house. It is in

the ceiling of the top floor of the house, and draws air up into the

attic. Most, but not all, have a closed vent to send the air

outside. A few do have the attic fan blowing into the open

attic. If you have all the windows closed, the attic fan won’t do

much good, if any. The fan has to have air coming in from somewhere

      in the house.
