You should try living in Hattiesburg, MS. We are about 75 miles from
the coast line. We are close enough to have the Gulf moisture, but far
enough away to not benefit from the beach breeze. Today’s high is about
98 w/a heat factor of 105 and humidity at 85%. And its not August yet!
I live in a 2bed/2bath apartment on the 2nd floor of a 3 story
building. My electricity bill last month was $160 and that was only in
June! If you are upset w/a 1500 square foot house that sticks you w/a
$200 bill, do not EVER move to the South! Though I do enjoy wearing t-
shirts year round.
