30th Birthday, Unique/Inexpensive Ways to Celebrate

Hi! When is your birthday??? Mine is November 27th.

I ALWAYS celebrate on Thanksgiving Day. Macy’s throws me a parade, everyone gets the day off work, we have a nice dinner, family gathers round, it’s great! On the 27th itself, if it is not Thanksgiving Day, I take the day off work, do all sorts of “me” stuff.

For instance, I take myself to the movies, treat myself to a long bubble bath, take the time to do my nails, watch “chick flicks” on T.V. (or stuff I won’t watch with my young son around – he does not understand that C.S.I. is make-believe, KWIM?) My hubby and I go out to dinner (let our son take us).

I go to lunch and take as long as I want, since I don’t “have to be anywhere”, sometimes I window shop at the mall,etc. It’s fun. It’s my day
and I enjoy it to the hilt!
