      Maria,

I actually ache for the position your son is in, as well as you

having to listen to the other boys’ smart mouth. Our son came to us at 3

y.o. & it took a few years for him to catch onto street jargon, even in

elementary school, and then he never has understood most of it, nor the

bullies in school. We couldn’t stand by & watch him suffer abuse by other

kids. The public school could only do so much; no real discipline or

separation from the other boys. My son only had a few friends because he

had never been in social situations before. Finally we had to gather

everything financially & emotionally & place him into a private school.

Today my son is in college & still thanks us for taking him out of

the public school. I’d love to support the public school system but it

didn’t work for this one particular kid of ours.

Please consider all options, even moving, before you send your son

on a school bus or into a classroom with bullies. The emotional pain never

      leaves the one being bullied.

      Best of luck,

      ~ Rustey

i was taking the long way around my apartment complex to take a

walk, and i saw three boys playing on the swing set in the playground.(2

of these boys-beat up/picked on my son when we first moved in)the other

is another kid who is always getting into touble and has also picked on

my son one time or another,I have always gotten along with these kids

more or less on a one on one basis, except today. As I was approaching

the swings, they all glanced my way, then when I was walking past

them, one of them started singing”here comes Godzilla” then the other

boy commented, hey she is trying to loose weight…she looks like a pig!

I responded”you need to get some manners”they all stayed quiet for a

moment then one of them said something and they all started laughing!

It kind of hurt my feelings and I can imagine what is going to happen

to my son if he rides the school bus with these kids! How would you

guys handle these kids??They have no respect for adults anymore at all!
