Here’s my potroast lineup…
I do try to buy a cheap roast, but when it’s on sale, I cannot pass up a good sirloin roast!
I get a 3 to 5 pound roast, and the first night will be a simple crockpot roast with potatoes, carrots, and onions in an aujus.
I divide the remainder into two hunks.
One hunk goes into a crockpot beef and barley with vegetable soup,
And the next hunk goes into individual beef pot pies, made with readymade pie crust, kind of like a beef stew calzone. I add beef gravy to that.
