My husband and I have 2 cats and a dog. As silly as it sounds, we don’t have pet insurance, but we do have a wellness plan. It covers spaying and neutering.
It also includes all their shots, any time they get sick, etc. It costs around $45 a month. It’s so worth it for me because our puppy has been sick since we got her and we’ve saved literally thousands.
I never thought it was worth it for my cats, but it’s now worth it! Check with your vet and see if they offer a wellness plan. We go to Banfield in Petsmart.
Check out their website, it talks about the wellness plans. Hope this helps R
