I was weighing out a box of pasta and found this kind of interesting….the pound of pasta labeled on the box includes the weight of the box. The brand I used was barilla, but I weighed a couple of other boxes, a different pasta, mac & cheese, and found the same thing. I am wondering if anyone else noticed this?

That is interesting. Maybe they do not think anyone will weigh the contents of the box and just use it as a pound. So how much did the box weigh? Thanks; Virginia

Awe now you make me want to pull out my scale and boxes of food… well that is a cheap shot from the manufactuers if you ask me!
