2cupsWhipped Creamor Cool Whip or Stabilized Whipped Cream
Mix together sweetened condensed milk and sour cream, until smooth.
Using a spatula, add the drained fruit cocktail, drained pineapple, cherry pie filling, and sliced bananas.
Fold in the whipped cream. (See Note)
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
If this dish is going to set for longer than a day or two, I recommend that you use stabilized whip cream or cool whip. The stabilized whip cream will prevent the fruit salad from becoming runny/watery. For flavor various, use Chunky Tropical fruit in place of regular fruit cocktail. I generally use fruit cocktail in juice rather than syrup, but you can use either. Be sure to drain the fruit thoroughly.
