Thread: onions and other nasty smells on fingers

When I lived in New Orleans, I got this tip from a seafood restaurant.

If you love fresh onions, garlic, shrimp, fish, etc but hate the smell on your hands- wash them with table salt. Always worked for me and my newly married daughter swears by it too.
