Holiday Cranberry Spread

1 bag of cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup apricot preserves
8 oz. cream cheese

Preheat oven to 350 F. Put a bag of fresh cranberries in a pan with sugar. Cover with foil.

Bake in preheated oven at 350F until cranberries burst, about 1 hr. Take out of oven and stir in pecans and apricot preserves. Refrigerate.

Pour over a brick of cream cheese and serve with crackers.

Note: Can also be used this as a spread for turkey sandwiches
