Snowshoeing is a great way to be active with the family and enjoy the scenic surroundings of Markham Museum. They are offering FREE snowshoeing on the selected dates & Introduction to Snowshoeing for Adults is also available.

4 Saturdays: January 15, 22, 29 & February 5, 2011 from 11 a.m. 12:30 p.m.

4 Sundays: January 16, 23, 30 & February 6, 2011 from 1 p.m. 2:30 p.m.

New Introduction to Snowshoeing for Adults

Want to try snowshoeing without a long drive?
Take an introduction to Snowshoeing class.
Each two-hour session will cover basic snowshoeing skills, their care and what to wear and bring on a winter hike.

Three opportunities available:

Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 7 p.m. 9 p.m.

Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 7:30 p.m. 9:30 p.m.

Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 3 p.m. 5 p.m.

Snowshoes provided.

Dress warmly for outdoor activities.
