Default Chinese style dump chicken recipes

These are all made basically the dump chicken way, so I will just
name all the ingredients except the chicken. Once you get the hang
of making chicken this way, you will be able to come up with all
    kinds of delicious combinations! Peggy

    2 T brown sugar
    2 T teriyaki sauce
    1 t dry mustard
1 t finely shredded orange peel
    1/2 t ground ginger

    Sweet and Tangy:
    1 bottle prepared barbeque sauce
    1 15 oz can pineapple chunks w/juice
    1 green bell pepper, sliced
    1 onion, shopped
    1 clove garlic, minced

    Chinese style:

Do you do these in the crockpot or in the oven? I would love to be able to do it
in the crockpot. I am going back to work for the first time in 4 years to help
with the budget and I am scared to death that we are just going to be spending a
    lot more in prepackaged foods.
