    Tried the above mixture in my dishwasher. It took three successive washings with store-bought dishwasher detergent, to remove the film the above mixture left on my glasses and dishes.

    do you perchance have hard or soft water?? I've used this in our dishwasher without any issues

    We have hard water & I have to add citric acid & lower the borax, a lot. I also add sea salt for a scrubber.
