The City has announced how Londoners will be able to get tickets to the Olympic Athlete Celebration, which is coming up June 21st at the John Labatt Centre.

The celebration is called "Inspiring a Dream", and a limit of eight free tickets can be picked up at any of these locations starting on Monday, May 31st:

o Canada Games Aquatic Centre (1045 Wonderland Rd N)
o Carling Heights Community Centre (656 Elizabeth St)
o South London Community Centre (1119 Jalna Blvd)
o North London Optimist Community Centre (1345 Cheapside St)
o Masonville Mall Guest Services (*New JLC Ticket Outlet)
o John Labatt Centre Box Office (99 Dundas Street)


Ice dance gold medalists Tessa Virtue, and Scott Moir, and speed skating gold medal winner Christine Nesbitt will be the guests of honour.

Also confirmed are Olympians David Duncan and Joe Bartoch; and Paralympians Joseph Barker, Adam Dukovich, Tammy McLeod and David Willsie.

Hockey superstar Drew Doughty will not be able to attend, as the celebration is the same week as the NHL Awards in Las Vegas.

Former London Knight Corey Perry, who was also on Canada's Gold Medal winning team, still may be at the event, which will include a performance from Orchestra London.
