Burnt Baked Potatoes
large potatoes, 1 per person
salt and pepper, to taste

Wash potatoes then poke 3 holes in each with a fork. Then completely cover the potatoes with butter and tightly wrap in foil. Lay directly on coals for at least 45 minutes Romove from fire and let cool. Unwrap and cut potatoes open to remove all the potato from the burnt skins.
the skin will be blackened and the potatoes appear ruined, but when cut open, the potatoes will be almost the consistnecy of mashed potatoes!
