Yes, just click on "Recipes" in the left hand side of any page and it will open up a number of Menus of various kinds of recipes including Mixes (in 32 categories), Dirt Cheap Recipes, OAMC, Ramen Noodle Recipes and more.
    ~Enjoy!~

So glad I found this - money is extremely tight - barely making it & this will help cut my expenses. Maybe I can get back on my feet now... This site is great!

I am so glad to have found this website, such great, life-changing info here! I'll be trying this $10 grocery list next week, simply because that's all I have in my bank account until the end of the month. I already racked up on potatoes and tuna during last week's grocery hall, so I'm ahead of the game so to speak. These are rough times, but I'm determined to make it through...

I have to admit I am skeptical that I can get everything for $10 but it is a good list to make the best use of your money when it's really tight like mine is. Thank you for doing the thinking when I can't make sense of anything right now!

Yeah, you're not definitely not going to get it all for $10, I wrote this article 12 years ago back in 2001. You should still be able to do it for around $15 but it really depends on your area.

When money is tight, all I buy is meat and vegetables. Maybe a bottle of wine

A great option is to replace the hamburger with lentils. I can purchase an entire pound of lentils for less than a dollar cook them in 30 minutes and get at least 12 high protein and fiber servings. I just substitute the lentils for hamburger in most recipes. If your family insists on meat, use half lentils and half ground turkey and you'll still be saving money.

Lentils are a great idea, as well as dry beans (whatever you enjoy). Last night I was going to try Chicken Fajita Ramen, but discovered I didn't have the chicken I thought I did...instead we had Italian sausage, peppers and onions over Ramen. My husband preferred it without the peppers, but the site definitely helped me think outside the ramen box.

I would exchange the ground beef for ground turkey, but you could still manage it for less than $20. I just got our groceries and spent about $90 at the store for two weeks worth for four people. With the exception of maybe needing one more gallon of milk- we are set. This is almost all thanks to Liss and this site.

I am making 6 dozen muffins from the recipes on here right now. I always put a link into a blog posting when I am on a Mom site and they ask for help. This site has been invaluable to our family.
