Italian Steak & Cheese Sandwiches- Left Over Layering

This is a great way to use up leftover roast beef. My boys hate roast beef, but they can't get enough of these sandwiches! Thinly slice leftover (cold) roast beef. Place in bowl or zippered freezer bag and pour just enough Italian dressing over to coat the meat. Stir (or "smoosh" bag!) to

Smile Italian Steak & Cheese Sandwiches

This is a great way to use up leftover roast beef. My boys hate roast beef, but they can't get enough of these sandwiches!

Thinly slice leftover (cold) roast beef. Place in bowl or zippered freezer bag and pour just enough Italian dressing over to coat the meat. Stir (or "smoosh" bag!) to thoroughly coat meat. Allow to marinate for at least 2 hours or longer, stirring or flipping the bag over occasionally. Saute' sliced onion and green or red peppers in oil. Add meat and heat until hot. Serve on homemade rolls topped with mozzarella or provolone cheese. Add a side of chips, some pickles, or whatever you like and dessert.
I am SO looking forward to "empty-nest syndrome"!
