Charter House Inn Buffalo Shrimp
1 lb. of raw 31/40 peeled and deveined shrimp
2 C. golden dip all purpose breading
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. kosher salt
2 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 lb. butter
2 C. franks red hot sauce or Tabasco-like Hot Sauce
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1/3 C. water
Mix all dry ingredients. Prepare egg wash, by beating egg together with water. Melt 1/4 lb butter mix with red hot sauce and vinegar dip shrimp in egg wash, bread with breading mixture.
Fry in deep fryer at 350 degree’s. place in container with hot sauce mixture shake well.
Serve with Bleu Cheese or Ranch Dressing
