Peanut Butter 'Cranwich' with Almonds
Makes 1 serving
1/4 cup dried cranberries
3 tablespoons Peter Pan® Creamy Peanut Butter
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 slice Healthy Choice® Seven Grain Bread, toasted
1 tablespoon slivered almonds, toasted
Combine cranberries, peanut butter and cinnamon in small bowl. Spread on toasted bread.
Sprinkle with toasted almonds. Serve.
Prepare peanut butter mixture and place in small plastic container. Put toasted bread and almonds in a recloseable food storage bag for easy travel to the office.
Toast almonds by placing them in a medium skillet over medium heat. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until lightly browned and fragrant, stirring occasionally.
