Cashew Chicken Crescent Sandwiches
Makes: 8 sandwiches
2 cans (4.25 oz each) chicken spread
1 jar (4.5 oz) Green Giant® sliced mushrooms, drained, chopped
1/4 cup chopped cashews
1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or 2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations™ refrigerated flaky dough sheet
4 slices (3/4 oz each) American cheese, cut in half
Red grape clusters, if desired
. Heat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, mix chicken spread, mushrooms, cashews, chives and pepper.
2. If using crescent rolls: Unroll both cans of dough; separate dough into total of 8 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. If using dough sheets: Unroll both cans of dough; cut dough into total of 8 rectangles.
3. Place cheese slice half in center of each rectangle. Spoon chicken mixture evenly over cheese. Fold short ends of dough over filling; pinch edges to seal. Place dough packets on ungreased large cookie sheet or 2 small cookie sheets.
4. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or cool. Garnish with grape clusters.
