    Default Minestrone Casserole

    Dress up Hamburger Helper® dinner mix Italian style with corn, tomatoes and herbs. Delizioso!

    Prep Time: 5 min
    Total Time: 55 min
    Makes: 6 servings

    1 pound lean ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
    1 clove garlic, finely chopped
    1 package Hamburger Helper® lasagna
    1 cup water
    1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    2 medium stalks celery, sliced (1 cup)
    1 can (15.25 ounces) Green Giant® whole kernel corn, undrained
    2 cups Progresso® diced tomatoes (from 28-oz can), undrained
    Grated Parmesan cheese, if desired

    1. Heat oven to 400ºF. Cook beef, onion and garlic in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until beef is brown; drain.
    2. Stir in uncooked Pasta, Sauce Mix and remaining ingredients except cheese. Pour into ungreased 3-quart casserole.
    3. Cover and bake 45 minutes. Serve with cheese.

    High Altitude (3500-6500 ft) Increase water to 1 1/2 cups.

    Special Touch:
    Make it Italian night at your house! Pull out the checkered tablecloth and add a candle in a wine bottle along with appropriate music to make tonight’s dinner extra special.

    No more Italian seasoning? Just use dried oregano or basil--or a combination of the two--instead.
