Makes: 6 servings, 1 cup each

1 lb. extra lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onions (about 1 small)
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, drained, rinsed
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (12 oz.) tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
3/4 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese Crumbles

BROWN meat in large skillet on medium heat; drain. Add onions and
green peppers; cook 5 to 6 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender,
stirring occasionally.
ADD all remaining ingredients except cheese; mix well. Reduce heat to
low; cover. Simmer 30 min., stirring occasionally.
SPOON evenly into six serving bowls. Top each with 2 Tbsp. cheese.
Serve with PREMIUM Saltine Crackers, if desired.
