    Default Hot Cocoa

I am tired of paying the high price of little packages of cocoa. Does anyone
have a TNT hot chocolate mix that their kids love? Thank you!

Hi Charlotte, I have no idea what TNT means but I made homemade hot cocoa
baskets for Christmas and I have tried the cocoa and I LOVE IT. The store
bought kind is too sweet and sometimes salty, but this one is just perfect. And
it is super easy to make too. Here's the recipe. If you try it, let me know if
    you like it or not.

    Hot Cocoa Mix

    1/2 cup cocoa powder
    1 cup granulated sugar
    3 cups powdered milk
    dash of salt

Directions: Sift three times and put in a jar or tin or whatever you want to
store it in. To serve, combine 3-4 heaping teaspoons of mix with boiling water
or for an extra rich drink mix with hot milk.

We love our hot cocoa mix and are making up lots of it for gifts too. In a
very large bowl mix together: one largest size Nestle's Quick, one largest
jar of Creamora (powdered cream) enough dry powdered milk that would make 4
quarts milk and a 2 lb. bag of powdered sugar. To use, always fill cup or
mug half full of mix and add hot water. It's yummy!

This is the one I remember my mom making me when I was in H.S. it was/is
very good. We kept it in a BIG Tupperware container. It was very popular
    when I had friends over.

    ************************************************** ****

    INGREDIENTS:
    10 cups dry milk powder
4 3/4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
1 3/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 3/4 cups powdered non-dairy creamer

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ----

    DIRECTIONS:
In a large mixing bowl, combine milk powder, confectioner's sugar, cocoa
powder, and creamer. Stir till thoroughly combined. Store cocoa mixture in
an airtight container. Makes about 15 cups mix, or enough for about 45
    servings.
For 1 serving, place 1/3 cup cocoa mixture in a coffee cup or mug, and add
3/4 cup boiling water. Stir to dissolve. Top with dollop of whipped cream or
    a few marshmallows, if desired.
