CONGEALED SALAD


1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 packets cherry jell-o
1 cup hot water
1 can (large) crushed pineapple
1 cup frozen strawberries
2 bananas, mashed
1 carton sour cream, at room temp.


Mix jell-o in hot water, add all ingredients except sour cream. The

hot water will soften the frozen strawberries. Pour half the mixture in
a mold and place in refrigerator to gel. After it congeals, remove and
spread with sour cream. Pour remaining mixture on top of sour cream.
Return to refrigerator to set. Cut into squares and serve on lettuce
leaf.
