Default Post Count for Ad Removal

I thought the sidebar ads went away after 5 posts? I must have read it wrong, as I have 8 and still see the ads. I was hoping they would go away and site access would speed up. Do I need to something special to get rid of the ads?

    Thanks for a great site!

We used to have the system/server recount the posts every hour, but it created a heavy server load, and made the site experience issues with slowness/downtime. So the reason you are not seeing your update (at the moment of the post) is that the recount had not yet taken place for the 2nd time of the day.

(It updates every 12 hours). (Oh, one more thing you can do if you see ads this morning is to make sure you are actually loading the correct page, rather than the cached version that is stored in your computer. To do that, go to the page you are experiencing issues on, hit ctrl + alt + F5 at the same time. It will empty the cache for that page and force a clean reload.

    ~Enjoy!~
