    Post Herb and Sake Rub

    wanna spice up your chicken for the grill or campfire? try this...
    Herb and Sake Rub
    1 cup chopped fresh celery leaves
    1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
    1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
    1/2 cup sake (what?! you don't stock sake?!? LOL! use sherry or white wine;->)

    2 tbs vegetable oil
    In food processor, coarsely chop all ingredients. Rub mixture over chicken. Grill immediately or refrigerate up to 4 hours. Makes enough to cover 2 lb boneless chicken or 4 leg quarters or breasts = about 115 calories.

    This looks very interesting for sure. I have tried sake, but I sure dont' keep it in stock. The sherry or white wine sounds good to try.

    I think I am stupid...I have never heard of sake. I thought it was a typo and you meant steak LOL

    it's Japanese wine very potent, but the alcohol cooks off and leaves a great flavor.

    i use plum sake when i bake chicken sometimes.. i put maybe 1/4 cup of plum sake, and 3 TBSP of hoisin sauce.. the chicken is tender from the sake and it's always a hit at my house.
