New use for orange peels- Tips-n-Tricks

Make your home smell wonderful. Remove pulp & anything wet from inside peel. Let peel dry thoroughly & break or cut (w/scissors) into small pieces. Add broken up cinnamon sticks & whole cloves. Add 1 or 2 TBLS. to a small pan of boiling water. Immediately reduce heat to WARM & let pan sit.

Add 1 or 2 TBLS. to a small pan of boiling water. Immediately reduce heat to WARM & let pan sit. Can add water to pan as it evaporates. Smells wonderful. (In a pinch I have used ground spices & got the same effect. Pie spice works very well, too.)

    I bet it does smell wonderful. I have a tiny crock for simmering the liquid potpouri and also a candle warmer that looks like a mini hot plate. Think I'll use those instead of the stove and have them going in 2 different places in the house. Thanks for the post.
