I found the same exact mold on ebay
There are 2 businesses on ebay with the same mold of 8 frogs just like in the picture above.
One lady sells for 1.00 and the other 2.15.
Search by "frog mold" and you'll find them.
Anyone have any luck making these w/o them exploding before you get to the freezer?
I haven't made mine yet but wonder what the secret is if you have 8 frogs to top off wont the first few explode while pouring the rest and before you ge to the freezer?
Can't wait to make them Thank you for offering the recipe for them!

well I have made a few as well and while they didn't totally explode they had little bubbles on the bottoms of the frogs where the reaction started.

I only did 3 at a time and I still wasn't fast enought to stop it. maybe it takes more attempts to get it down.

^^ Is there any way you can cut your mold.
I haven't started them yet (waiting on a shipment of M&P) but after looking at my frog mold with 8 frogs on it, maybe what I'll do is cut them out singly and stand with the freezer door open lol, top it off and quickly stick the single frog in the icebox. Then just do it that way one at a time :P
If I get my supplies today I'll post on that method
They sure are cute! The kids are going to love them!

I personally came up with recipe about 10 years ago and used to make them all the time for my kids, I ended up sharing the recipe on the site after telling people on the my discussion list about them.

Here are some tips for getting them filled without them exploding:

    1. add a very light layer of baking soda or powdered milk over the top of the filling before pouring the "bottom" of your frogs.

    2. Make sure your mold & fillings are very cold, I use the freezer

    3. You can use powdered milk in place of oatmeal if you are using the recipe for sink use rather than for a full bathtub as it was originally intended. I prefer the oatmeal as it is Very soothing to little ones skin and that is who the recipe was intended for originally, children.

    4. It's a bit of trial and error, I lived in Maine when I made these and I can say that my craft room was never overly warm! I did pour only 2 at a time, wait 30 seconds then pour the bottoms onto the next 2.

I think it's funny that people are selling my idea online and for $2.15 each! Maybe I should start selling all these ideas rather than posting them.

Oh, and I fixed the photos on the site, you can now click on them to enlarge them.

It's not that much, but here's a trick for you, put the bath bomb fizz filling in then top it with a very thin layer of powdered milk or powdered oatmeal (blend it into a very fine powder in a blender). Then using a spoon, spoon a small amount of (melted) soap onto the bottom to seal the bottom. The faster it sets, the less chance of it foaming. If it soaks through the oatmeal/powdered milk before it has a chance to cool- your froggie will explode.

Trial and error my friend. I made a dozen frogs before I got it down pat.
    ~Enjoy!~
