Spike in Point gain

Spike in Point gain

Okay, So I've noticed in today alone I've made at least 5000 points. I'm confused as to how and why I've made so many when I haven't been nearly as active as usual. I'm not complaining but I want to make sure its not a glitch

Yes, It was a glitch due to the new Topic of the Week system that we put into play. The TOTW also uses the reputation system, so all users Reputation points temporarily doubled during installation.

I do believe the points are back to normal this morning. Sorry for the fluctuations, I have no way of preventing them when installing a new item unless I disable the system completely.

    Hugs

Thanks for explaining that. I noticed that mine spiked in a large amount and then a few minutes ago it decreased by a large amount again. Thanks Liss!!!

The same thing happened to me. I had almost 10,000 points & now I have a negative 5,8884 points, so I lost more that 15,000 points. Very weird!

Good thing to know. I was getting ready to get the target gift card in case it wasn't a glitch.

I checked the points this morning and ran an unscheduled update to be sure that all of the points are up to date. Anyone with additional questions can PM Me.
