Thumbs up Yarn for Crocheting dishcloths?

Im making some dishcloths for Christmas.

What brand and type of yarn would be the best for the making of the dishcloth, so it can be used?

    Thanks in advance!

The sugar n cream cotton yarn is good for dishclothes. Any kind of thick cotton yarn usually in small rolls compared to the large skeins works for these.

thank you very much for your reply.

I made a couple prior without knowledge of "kind if yarn" and they didnt work at all. They were cute, but useless.

not a problem, I used to do a lot of crocheting (one of the good things I learned from my x mother-in-law) so I would be happy to help in any way

COTTON - some like the thinner stuff others like the thick

One girl I know crocheted in some netting on the corner for scrubbing .. sorta cool idea I thought ..

BTW if you buy netting (usually 60 in wide) cut in 3 inch strips and make a circle granny and you have a scrubby ..

I've always used the peaches and cream too. I like to buy the big roll though, can be used for other crafts. I love the dishclothes made with this, they work really well. I've tried the scrubbing pad before, but it just didn't come out to well for me.
