The sugar n cream cotton yarn is good for dishclothes. Any kind of thick cotton yarn usually in small rolls compared to the large skeins works for these.

thank you very much for your reply.

I made a couple prior without knowledge of "kind if yarn" and they didnt work at all. They were cute, but useless.

COTTON - some like the thinner stuff others like the thick

One girl I know crocheted in some netting on the corner for scrubbing .. sorta cool idea I thought ..

BTW if you buy netting (usually 60 in wide) cut in 3 inch strips and make a circle granny and you have a scrubby ..

I've always used the peaches and cream too. I like to buy the big roll though, can be used for other crafts. I love the dishclothes made with this, they work really well. I've tried the scrubbing pad before, but it just didn't come out to well for me.

For the scrubbies you are talking about you use nylon yarn you can get it at walmart or any craft place.

    Ria,
I'm a fan of the scrubbies..
I have different colors that I use for different things in the house.
When I go to craft fairs that is one of the first things I look for..
