    Piggy Tips on Saving Money

I ran across an article on ways to save money and thought it was some good information.

The article was on A to Z investments

    1. Don't play the lottery
    2. Cancel cable TV premium channels
    3. Cut the amount of times you go out to dinner in half.
    4. Use a water filtration system instead of buying bottled water.
    5. Eat less read meats.
    6. Break the fast food habit.
    7. Cut down on buying coffee out (I have to watch when I go to Target, we have a Starbucks inside ours, those Caramel Macchiatos get me. LOL)
    8. Take your lunch to work (Figure it like this if you spend 5.00 a day and work 5 days a week you are spending $1300 a year)
    9. stop smoking ( I am personally trying to do this, not easy but I think will be worth it) They say if you smoke you end up paying double for health care over your lifetime and quitting will help on insurance prices.
    10. Every night put all the change in your pockets in a change jar (they say dollar bills too. I personally would be too tempted with the dollar bills in the change jar)
    11. Use regular popcorn or make your own microwave popcorn.
12.Drive smarter and save on gas.

    13. Look at credit cards as if I have to charge it I can't afford it.
    14. Cut the number of Christmas presents and other gifts you buy or just the amount spent on them
    15. Use the Dollar Stores

Most of these I know we have all talked about before but sometimes just having a list of ideas helps. Hope this helps someone. I know I will be checking over it from time to time.
